Resume
The velocity profile and the form of the free surface for ostwaldian liquid films flowing in a laminar fashion along an inclined flat plate were determinated. The asymptotic joining method at great numbers of REYNOLDS, FROUDE and WEBER was applied. It was found that decrease of flow behaviour , for constant value of hydrodynamic parameter caused decrease of velocity into the film, and the film thickness increased along the flow direction. For , the gravitational force dominates over the viscous force, and the flow was accelerating, while the film thickness was decreasing along the flow direction. The results obtained from the present analysis are found to be in good agreement with the physical predictions.
