Acute abdominal, a frequent motivation of consultation on medical and surgical emergency is an arised pain without explanation no more long than one week. The computed tomograhy is the gold standard exam in radiological imaging. The aim of this study was to precise the advantages of the computed tomography in the diagnosis of acute abdominal.It was a retrospective study of 40 cases in the Radiology Unity of Ilafy during 2004. The average of ages was older than 40 years old (54%) with the predominance of men (82%).The hepatic abcess and the pancreatitis were the frequent causes and had the same frequency at 27 %.
