Resume
This study was undertaken at two poorly known massifs of Ambohimirahavavy and Beampoko, which have never been inventoried. The ecological methods used to characterize the vegetation beyond 2000 m on these two massifs were the following : vegetation structure approach, dendrometry analysis, study of the natural regeneration and associated flora.
