The structural data puts in evidence the relations between the structural geology (tectonics), the landform (geomorphology) and the soil formation (pedology). These informations are indispensable concerning the importance of the rocks fracturing and of the laterite as well. The objectives were to understand the processes of the formation of lavaka and to put in evidence the mechanical and geotechnical properties of the laterites.
