Résumé
To cure renal disease in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, immunosuppressive therapy are sometimes needed. The clinician needs some gravity arguments to set on such aggressive therapy. The aim of our study was to find out the importance of clinical and biological gravity factors while histological examinations are not available. We analysed these factors in 6 patients hospitalized in medical units from january 1997 to sepember 2001. our patients were exclusively females. The mean age was 31. None of our patients had arterial hypertension. Two patients (33,3%) had nephrotic syndrome. Two patients (33 ,3%) had initial plasmatic creatinine over 106µmol/l. Five patients had low plasmatic C3. Anti double-strained DNA antibodies were found in four patients (66,6%). An exacerbation of the nephropathy happened in a 10,3 months mean time follow-up for three patients (50%). The plasmatic C3 decreasing was related to the happening of nephropathy exacerbation. Cumulated gravity factors was related to unfavourable pronostic.
