Résumé
The false aneurysm is one of infrequently complications of vascular injuries, habitually after a traumatism. We report a case of a false aneurysm of the left external carotid artery that developed in a young man 4 months after neck penetrating trauma. The clinical examination revealed a giant painful pseudo-parotid mass pulsated which was on the area of initial injury. The Doppler ultrasound confirmed the vascular injury. Surgery is the treatment of choose to evacuate the haematoma, to repair the vascular defect and to correct the cosmetic deformity. A serious exploration of all neck penetrating injuries prevent this complication
